Deep Indulgence

This movie is from PlayGirl Video. I know what you're thinking: "PlayGirl? Isn't that for women?" Well yes, and maybe their other stuff is really gay (their website certainly is), but this particular movie is basic hetero porn; each scene has 1 guy and 1 girl, and they have foreplay followed by sex. So it's really "couples porn", but without the elaborate and poorly done stories that are common in that genre.

The biggest difference between regular "couples porn" and this video is primarily the appearance of the male performers: specifically, they make sure to hire guys who look like they're Chippendales, and they do a bit of male body worship, showing off their muscles etc. This doesn't do anything for men, but if you like to watch porn with your wife or girlfriend, this is a pretty big bonus. Don't fall into the trap of thinking that you shouldn't let your wife watch porn where the guys are better-looking than you: if she is turned on by the porn, you will benefit, I promise you.

Unfortunately, this video also has a female voice-over for most of the scenes, where she talks about how horny she was for the guy, how he made her feel things she'd never felt before, etc. It wouldn't be so bad if she just talked over the beginning of the scene, but she often keeps talking well into the scene, even after foreplay has already begun. That's just plain annoying, and Rebecca agrees. But I digress; the movie is a vignette-style production, with eight separate unrelated scenes. Since it is oriented toward female viewers, I asked Rebecca to rate the scenes, and then I went with her ratings.

Scene 1: "Greek Statue". Rebecca loved this scene, primarily because of the male performer. His screen name is "Nico" (sometimes spelled "Niko"), and he looks like he stepped off the cover of a Harlequin romance novel. This guy really got her engine running, and I'll lay pretty good odds that your wife or girlfriend will react the same way. Anyway, the scene is about a Greek statue who comes to life and makes love to a pretty blonde woman (unfortunately, I can't tell what her name is because the producers of this video decided not to include credits for some damned reason). That's it for the plot, and as you might expect for a couples-oriented video, they really take their time with the foreplay and the fucking is not very hardcore. But it's very well-done, with good camera work and production values, as well as appropriate background music.

Scene 2: "Love 4 Sale". This scene stars couples-porn standby Julian (don't any of these guys have last names?) and it's a classic "real-estate agent bangs client" scene. Julian's partner in this scene is a somewhat plush redhead; she's carrying a few extra pounds but she carries them well. Unfortunately, the music is quite a bit more annoying than the music in scene 1 (more of a synthesized dance club sound) and I was not keen on this scene at all for that reason, but Rebecca liked it, so I have to give it a thumbs up anyway.

Scene 3: "The Hairdresser". A girl convinces a gay hairdresser to switch sides and join the hetero team. I'm sure this is a popular fantasy among women, but it did nothing for Rebecca. She likes guys to be very hetero from day one, and the idea of trying to "turn" a gay guy has no appeal for her. Especially a hair dresser, which is one of the gayest occupations there is. Not that there's anything wrong with that, as Seinfeld would say, but if it doesn't turn her on, then there's no point watching it. The actual sex is no better or worse than any other scene on the disc, but the premise of it was a bit of a turn-off for both of us, so the scene gets a thumbs down.

Scene 4: "Voodoo". This scene is gay. Just skip it. Seriously, I'm not kidding. They interview the porn actor "Voodoo", do a bit of male body worship, and then show some topless girl cock-teasing him while he jerks himself off. Totally worthless. I can't imagine why anyone would get off on watching a guy choke the chicken while staring at a girl.

Scene 5: "Exposed", with Christian and Joleen. This is one of the few scenes in this movie where they tell you both performers' names. The plot is a porn scene within a porn scene: the premise is that these two people are porn actors and they are doing a scene. We see the director telling them what to do, instructing the guy to do some foot worship and put nail polish on her toes, etc. The whole thing takes place on a set that the director herself describes as "really girly", with pink tones everywhere and bubbles falling. And the whole thing seems really effeminate and lame, so this gets a big thumbs down.

Scene 6: "The Fireplace". This scene is a generic couples scene: a girl is sitting by the fireplace, and a guy walks in to make love to her (in couples porn, they don't fuck; they make love). It's so generic, in fact, that it's very difficult to get enthusiastic about it. Rebecca commented on its lack of creativity right away, and then the voice over just would not stop. The voice-over girl just kept droning on and on and on, until Rebecca got fed up and skipped to the next chapter. Thumbs down.

Scene 7: "Corporate Cock". We see a guy in a business suit at the office, and his wife or girlfriend calls him to ask him to come home and fuck her. He says no, because he has to work. He hangs up and tries to get some work done, but eventually he looks up and there she is! She wants him so badly that she's come to the office to get her fix. Well, he just has to oblige her now, so they have sex. It's a fun little premise for a scene, and it's well-done, so Rebecca gave this scene the thumbs up. This means I give it the thumbs-up too (to be honest, for a video like this, I'm simply going to go with Rebecca's ruling on whether it's a good scene, because I primarily watch this sort of movie for her benefit, not for mine).

Scene 8: "Tunisa". I really expected Rebecca to like this scene. It takes place in some sort of tropical paradise, which is a big bonus for her because she loves nice background scenery in her porn. The guy is a good-looking muscular dude. The ingredients seemed to be there, but it just didn't work for her. Something about the performers turned her off for some reason. She couldn't even explain why, so I can't explain it either. All I know is that she didn't like it, so I have to give it a thumbs down. Your mileage may vary.

In conclusion, this movie actually scores pretty poorly in terms of number of scenes that Rebecca liked: just three out of eight. That rounds up to 2 stars out of 5. Not a great score, but you still might want to check out this movie if you don't mind skipping past the bad scenes, because it will probably turn your wife or girlfriend on. Especially scene #1. And a horny wife generally means a happy husband. Unless he's not home at the time.
