This is a rather oddly named title which I had originally assumed to be a series of story-based vignettes, based on the name alone. After all, when a movie is called "Romantic Rectal Reaming", you can assume there will be some sort of romance in each scene before the buildup to anal sex, right? Wrong. As far as I can tell, the only justification for the word "romantic" in the name of this movie is the fact that the performers kiss at the beginning of each scene before the relentless anal punishment begins.

The first scene is a simple coupling with Roxy Jezel and a dark-haired guy. They start out with kissing, work their way to oral, move up to vaginal, and then graduate to an energetic anal pounding. The second scene is blonde Jessica Jammer with her boyfriend. This scene starts out much like the previous one, but it gets down to business much faster. A second guy mysteriously shows up after a few minutes, and before you know it, she's taking a DP. Once again, the scene starts out with kissing but it can hardly be described as "romantic", particularly in the middle of the scene when she starts licking one of the guys' asses. If there's one thing that I hate in porn more than anything else, it's the sight of a woman's tongue on a man's ass. For that matter, I'm not a big fan of seeing a man's ass at all, never mind those accursed rimjob close-ups.

Scene #3 features Dana Vespoli and a hispanic-looking guy, and is very similar to scene #1. Scene #4 features Jamie Elle and two guys, and is similar to scene #2 but with less abusive behaviour and none of those annoying rimjobs.

And now we come to scene #5, starring Haley Paige and two guys. It's a virtual repeat of scene #4, and is followed by the finale with scene #6, starring Nadia Styles and two guys doing more of the same.

All in all, this is probably a pretty good film if you're into the gonzo raincoater genre, but its title is seriously misleading. There's plenty of rectal reaming in this movie, but not much romance. Unless you're a raincoater, this movie is not for you.
